James YARE (1875-?)

Unfortunately there were two people by the name of James YARE born in 1875.

1. James, the son of William and Elizabeth YARE, born at Brough, East Ward, Westmorland, in 1875 Q3. He is found living at East Ward with his father in all 4 censuses to 1911. He is a boot-maker.
2. James, the son of John Y YARE, (a widower in 1891) born at Kendal, Westmorland, in 1875 Q4. He is found living with his father at Kendal in 1891, and at Blackburn in 1911. He is a stone-mason.
   In 1901 John Y YARE is still at Kendal, living alone. James is not found. John Yeadon YARE married Jane HARTLEY or Margaret Hannah GREGG in 1874. The death of Jane YARE at Kendal in 1882 confirms the former.

Both James YAREs were single in the 1911 census.

1. James YARE died at Lancaster in 1915 Q2 aged 39, and
2. James YARE died at Carlisle in 1961 Q1 aged 85.

Both of these deaths would correctly match either of the births, Without seeing the death certificates it is not possible to securely say which James is which.
