Edward MORRIS d, 23 Nov 1857

ADMINISTRATIONS 1858, p. 169

MORRIS Edward. 17 February. Letters of Administration of the Personal estate and effects of Edward Morris late of Valindre in the Parish of Glasbury in the County of Brecon Yeoman a Widower deceased who died 23 November 1857 at Valindre aforesaid were granted at Hereford to Susan Evans (Wife of James Evans of the Parish of Llanigan in the said County Yeoman) the Daughter of the said Deceased she having been first sworn. Effects under £20.
This was the first I knew about my Great Great Great Aunt Susan Evans, assuming that the will is of my 3 x Great Grandfather, Edward Morris.

James Evans married Eliza Morris at Hereford in 1841 Q4 26 185.

But James Evans and Susannah were living at Glasbury in 1841 with a daughter, Elizabeth, age 2.

It is possible that Susannah is a previously unknown daughter of Edward, born in about 1813. There is a gap from 1810 to 1815 where a child could easily have been born.

I have ordered a copy of the Letters of Administration
